Sue Ann Wagner    1937 – 2017

Age 79, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Jan 5, 2017.  She was born in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of the late Clay and Charleen (Stewart) Long, and had been a Canton resident since 1972.  Sue was a 1955 graduate of Old Washington High School and also Columbus Business College.  She had been a realtor for several realty companies over 25 years, and was a member of the Million Dollar Club.  Sue was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church and was instrumental in making candy and the chicken pie dinners.  She was an avid bridge player and bowler.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Pat Long.  She is survived by her husband, Karl E. Wagner, with whom she celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on August 12, 2016; three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Renata Wagner, of Arnold, MD, David Wagner, of Oviedo, FL, and Greg and Keri Wagner, of Columbus, OH;  three  grandchildren, Isabella, Ian, and Ellie; and her brother, James Long, of Ft. Collins, CO.  Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Simpson United Methodist Church with Dr. Ivy Smith officiating. Interment will be in Center Baptist Cemetery in Cambridge on Friday at 11 a.m.  Friends may call Wed. 6-8 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home and Thursday 10-11 a.m. before the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue's memory may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church, 4900 Middlebranch Rd.
