SUE A. GUMMERE,

Age 74, of Canton, passed away Sat. morning in Mercy Medical Center.  Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude Pennell Sammeter, she had been a life resident of the Canton area.  Sue was a 1957 graduate of North Canton High School and owned Gummere Marine, Inc.  Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gummere, in 1994, her sister, Jackie Engstrom, and her brother, Val Sammeter.  Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Adrianne and Travis Dixon, of Massillon; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Dan Jones, of NM, Dale and Mike Fowler, of CA, and Tina and Frank Stever, of CA; one brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Tracey Sammeter, of CA; two grandchildren, Ellery and Blake; and her dog, Macy and cat, Zoey.  There will be no services.  Friends may call Thur. from 2-4 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  Condolences may be left at www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
