Steven R. Langman

Steven R. Langman, age 67, of Canton passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born on April 4, 1959, son to the late Dale and Elaine (Waechter) Langman. Steve was a graduate of Jackson High School class of 1977 and went on to graduate from Kent State University. Steve was a dedicated and loyal employee of the Hoover company for many years and retired in 2018. Steve was a man who deeply cherished time spent with his family. Whether traveling to Florida to visit loved ones or simply spending time with his son, family was always at the heart of his life. He made it a priority to ensure those closest to him never doubted how deeply they were loved.

Steve is survived by his son Joseph (Jordan) Langman; granddaughter Emilia, and another granddaughter on the way; sister Kathy (Jim) Yackey; brothers Dave (Vonnie) Langman, and Dale Langman Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Steve’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Smith officiating.
