STEPHEN T. WELKER,
Age 60, of Malvern, passed away Fri. morning in Minerva Elder Care Center. Born a son of the late George and Mary Jane Burwell Welker, he was raised in Waynesburg and had been a Malvern resident since 2003. Stephen was a 1968 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and an employee of Abbott Electric Co. where he was a residential electrician. He attended Sandy Valley Church of God, and was a volunteer fireman for Waynesburg and Sandy Township Fire Departments. Preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Leon. Survived by his wife, Nancy Welker, with whom he would have celebrated their 29th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 30th; three sons, Devin Welker, of Navarre, Clay Welker, of CA, and Stephen Welker, of Dayton; one daughter, Christina Welker, of Dayton; two sisters, Anne Ricosky, of Waynesburg, and Elizabeth White, of Canton; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Carol Welker, of Lake Mohawk, Phillip and Kay Welker, of North Port, FL, Michael and Janie Welker, of Canton, and Tony and Bernita Welker, of East Rochester, OH. Graveside services will be conducted Tues. at 11 a.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern with Rev. Clifford Hughes officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stephen's memory may be made to Mission 4 Maureen, P.O. Box 21602, S. Euclid, OH 44121, or the donor's favorite charity.
