STEPHEN JOHN ESLICH,

Age 82, of Waynesburg, passed away Thur., June 21, 2018.  Born in Canton, a son of the late Stephen and Marie Eslich, he had been a resident of Waynesburg for over 50 years.  He served with the U.S. Army, and retired from Hercules Engines as a machinist.  Stephen was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Council #14491, and served as Commander of the former Joseph Cicchitti V.F.W. #8024 in Waynesburg.  Preceded in death by his wife, Marian Eslich, his son, John Fox, his grandson, Seth Eslich, one sister and four brothers.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Barney Molnar, and Susan and Michael Gore; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Nikki Eslich III; five grandsons, Ryan (Liz) Eslich, Kevin (Vanessa) Gore, Jacob (Chelsea) Gore, Samuel (Ashley) Gore, and Christian Benedetti; six granddaughters, Rachel Kilgore, Sarah Blake, Megan (Cody) Jarrett, Syndi Eslich, Lily Benedetti, and Savannah Benedetti; 12 great grandchildren, Alexa, Brooke, Felicity, Brody (Bodo Brozinski), Adella, Preston, Kitana, Kelvin, Emberley (Molly B), Ean, Gemma, and Lilah; two nephews, Lou and Pat Eslich; and lifelong best friend John Kendrick.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Mon. at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr.
