STEPHEN A. BRISSEY,

Age 73, of East Sparta, passed away Fri., Oct. 28, 2016, in Aultman Compassionate Care Center.  Born in Harrisville, Ritchie Co., WV, a son of the late Darwin and Eddeth (Gilmore) Brissey, he had been an Ohio resident most of his life and East Sparta for 10 years.  Stephen was a 1961 Graduate of Canton South High School, served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Republic Storage Systems and previously worked at LTV Steel.  Preceded in death by his uncle Carl Gilmore.  Survived by his caregivers Penny and Jack Isom and Steve Jacoby, his friend Pamela Skidmore and all his friends at Doug's Dugout.  A Celebration of his Life will be held Tues. at 8 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
