Shirley R. Starcher

Age 58, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021.  She was born Feb. 14, 1963 in Dover, OH, a daughter of Shirley "Red" Smoot, Janice (Markey) Leech and the late Michael Leech, and was a life resident of the Sandy Valley area.   Shirley was a 1982 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and had been employed as a Nurses Aide at Carroll Health Care and McKinley Life Care.  In addition to her parents, Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Tasha Starcher, two sisters, Virginia (Fred) Meeder and Shelley Leech, a niece, Raven Leech,  numerous cousins, including special cousin, Davey Gray, and her beloved cat, Leo.  Services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Dave Naus officiating.  Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Social distancing and facial covering are required.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
