Shirley M. Neisel
Age 82, of Canton, passed away Thursday morning, April 5, 2012, in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born in Sandyville, a daughter of the late Claude and Oma (Grove) Henline, and was a life resident of the North Industry-East Sparta area. Shirley had been an assembler for Century Products, and was a former member of Pike Township Historical Society, the Wilderness Center, Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association, and the Stark Antique Power Association. Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert K. Neisel, on July 6, 1995, and a son, John Neisel, in 1965. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Rodney Strobel, of Canton; two sisters, Della Ladrach, of Sandyville, and Erma Scott, of Dover; one brother, James Henline, of Florida; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sat. at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Steve Kimbrel and Hospice Chaplin Kathleen Schen officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. Friends may call two hours before the service on Sat. from 12-2 p.m.
