Shirley J. Falb

Age 80, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  She was born Dec. 22, 1937 in Millersburg, OH, a daughter of the late William F. and Rachael (Calhoun) Bigler, Sr., resided in Canton the past ten years, previously Orrville and Columbus.  Shirley was a 1956 graduate of Orrville High School.  She was retired from the State of Ohio Health Dept., previously working at Smuckers and the Applecreek Development Center.  Shirley attended Church of The Covenant.  She loved her numerous rescue dogs.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Falb, on Dec. 28, 1977, and her brother, William F. Bigler, Jr., on July 7, 2017.  Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kay Falb, and three grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, and Ashley; one sister, Judy Yoder; a sister-in-law, Catharine J. (Tabb) Bigler; two nephews and a niece, Matthew and Marc Yoder, and Catherine Richards, and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.  Services will be held Sat. at 3 p.m. in Church of The Covenant with Rev. Dr. Barbara Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville on Monday at 10: a.m.  Friends may call Sat. 2-3 p.m. at the church before the service.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
