Shelbia J. Otte,

Age 89, of East Sparta, passed away Mon., Mar. 9, 2026.  She was born Sept. 7, 1936, in Clinton Co., KY, a daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Perdue) Ferguson.  Shelbia was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morges and was a founding member of the East Sparta Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary which she served for many decades.  Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Otte, on Nov. 11, 2017, and four brothers and two sisters.  Survived by two daughters, Susan (Robert) Pariano, and Marguerite (Donnie) Nicholson, Jr.; one son, Richard Otte II; two granddaughters, Chloe and Meggie; two great granddaughters, Ivy Rose and Daisy Mae; and one daughter-in-law, Jen Otte.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Fri. at 10am in St. Mary Catholic Church in Morges with Fr.
