Sharon A. Hughes

Age 73, of Dover, passed away Wed., June 19, 2024.  She was born Oct. 12, 1950 in Dover, NH, a daughter of the late John and Anita (LaRouche) Bourque, and resided in the Mineral City/Dover, OH. area 50 years.  Sharon enjoyed crocheting and crafts.  She loved everybody she met and never knew a stranger.  But especially, Sharon enjoyed being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Hughes; a brother and sister, Eddie Bourque and Susan Coughlin; a granddaughter, Ashley Hasseman; and three great-grandchildren, Emma Patrick, Arrietty and Jamie Geisinger.  Sharon is survived by three children, Melisa (Conway) Patrick, Karen (David) Simon, and Banjo (Theresa) Proof; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, Amanda (Kurtis) Gillespie, and their children, June, Jayce, and Johnny; Katie (Marc) Geisinger, and their son, Liam; Alicen (Kory) Bake, and their children, Baylee, Jonah, Noah, and Kailey; Michael (Kelsey) Patrick, and their sons, Jeremy and Waylon; Jacob Patrick, and his children, Karson, Kayden, Kamden, and Millie; Joseph (Betina) Proof, and their daughter, Eleanor; Kenderick (Miranda) Proof; Trey Proof; Ian Simon, and his son, Reuben; and Avery Simon. Five brothers, John, Wayne, Brian, Paul, and Christopher Bourque.
