Sharon E. Cornell

Age 63, of East Sparta, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016.  She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Harry and Marlene (Talbert) Johnson, and was a life resident of this area.  Sharon was a 1971 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  She  was a homemaker, and had worked at several restaurants over the years.  Sharon was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Zoar.  She had fun playing Yahtzee with her friends Lucy and Matt Boyd, but most of all just enjoyed being with her family and friends.  Survived by her husband, Daniel L. Cornell, with whom she celebrated their 34th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 27th; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Amanda Cornell and their sons, Daniel and Ryan; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Charles Elkins II, and two brothers, James "Eddie" Johnson, and Harry Dwayne Johnson and Bonnie; also several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Faith Baptist Church in Zoar with Rev.
