SCOTT S. SMITH,

Age 48, of Massillon, passed away Tues., Mar. 7, 2017.  Born in Canton, and was a life resident of this area.  He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Smith, Jr., grandfather, Russell Smith, Sr., and grandparents, Pete and Jo Hurd.  He is survived by his parents, Allison (Hurd) and Peter Goshay;  four sons, Corey, Matthew, Justin and Scott Smith; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Toi and Adam Evans, Summer Goshay, Kaleah and Kenny Batch, and Stacy Freeman; one brother, Andrew Smith; his grandmother, Louise Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend, Derrick Grimes.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Legends Care Center and Dr. Sawhney for the love and care they gave to Scott.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev.
