Scott A. Pingstock

Age 45, of Mineral City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015.  He was born in Dover, a son of Penny Pingstock of Mineral City and was a life resident of Mineral City.  Scott was a 1987 graduate of Tusky Valley High School.  He had been a truck driver for a number of years.  He loved fishing, especially at the Point, and camping.  He enjoyed music concerts at Clay's Park and anywhere Pink Floyd was playing.  Surviving besides his Mother, is his wife, Virginia R. (Shuman) Pingstock; one daughter, Adora Machelle Pingstock, of Mooresville, IN; an aunt and uncle, Beth and Mike Didinger, and cousins, Amanda (Phil Jeremiah) Perdue, and Jennifer Perdue; an uncle and aunt, Mike and Anne Pingstock, and cousins, Julie (Ryan) Clark, and Sara (Scott) Stanley.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat., Jan. 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. in East Sparta United Methodist Church with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating.The family will receive friends in the church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
