Sara Jane Holben

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Sat., Jan. 1, 2022, at the Canton Christian Home.  She was born Nov. 13, 1937 in Fairhope, OH, a daughter of the late Virgil and Beulah (Lautzenheiser) Adams, and was a North Canton resident except for ten years in California.  Jane was a 1955 graduate of Louisville High School and retired from Mercy Medical Center after 28 years' service, in Patient Accounts.  She was a member of SOLOS and was an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Richard Holben, in 1994, and a sister, Joanne Vaughn. Jane is survived by her daughter, Cindy Pincoe and Randy Frank, grandson, Alex Pincoe, step-grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Dietrich, and Sean (Fiancee' Deshia Pryor) Frank, sister, Norma Elsaesser, and two sisters-in-law, Barb Beck and Drenna Baum.

Friends may call Wed. 4-6 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  There will be no formal service.  The family would like to thank the staff of the Canton Christian Home for all the love and kindness they gave to Jane during her stay there.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane Holben's memory may be made to the Canton Christian Home Benevolent Fund, 2550 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
