IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra
Adams
June 27, 1939 – September 16, 2025
Sandra Jean Adams,
86, entered her heavenly home on September 16. Born on June 27, 1939, in Canton, Ohio, to the late John and Dorothy Hill. She was married to the love of her life, Jess Adams, for 66 beautiful years before his passing in October 2024.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved son, Todd Adams (Sara Adams living); her brother, Rick Hill; and sisters Sharon, Myra, and Pam. Sandra's life continues through her daughters, Desiree (Barry) Kindy of North Canton, OH, and Tiffany (Stephen) Wescott of Manteo, NC. She was "Gram" to Jaymi, Sloan, Chelsey, Bryce, McKenzie, Chaise, Rasheed and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenny, Randy, Timmy, and Kurt, and sisters, Susie, Peggy, and Margie.
Sandra devoted more than 30 years to Stark County Job and Family Services, retiring at the age of 70. Her sister Peggy often said that Sandra was "the glue that held everyone together." Her wisdom, guidance, and love were a steady foundation—not only for her family, but for many others who found in her a safe place and a listening ear. Together, Sandra and Jess built not just a home, but a legacy—a marriage rooted in Christ and lived out as an example to all who knew them. Their ministry together shaped generations, and the seeds they sowed continue to bear fruit today. To her family, Sandra was Mom, Gram, and the heart of every gathering. She offered encouragement in times of trouble, laughter in times of joy, and steadfast faith in times of uncertainty.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Jess and Todd, rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. Her baton has been passed on, and her family will honor her life by continuing to walk with Christ and share His love with others. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Aultman Hospice staff who provided care to our mom.
Services will be held Fri. at 11am in Faith Family Church with her son-in-law, Pastor Stephen Wescott and Pastor Dana Gammil officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thur. from 5-7pm in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandra's name may be made to: Coastal Family Church at 106 E.
