RUTH N. WADE,

Age 100, of Louisville, passed away Sat., Feb. 3, 2018.  Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Nellie (Thompson) Thomas, she had been a life resident of the Canton and Magnolia area. Ruth was a former employee of Sparta Ceramic Tile Co. and a member of the former Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Jess Wade, on July 10, 1990, and a brother, Richard Thomas.  Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Audrey Wade, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Oakhill Manor for the excellent care they gave to Ruth for many years.  A Memorial Service will be held Sun. at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with her great grandson, Jason Wade, officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
