E. Ruth (Collier) Starr Age 95, of Silva, MO, formerly Canton, passed away Sat. morning in the Baptist Home in Ironton, MO. She was born in Scioto County, OH, a daughter of the late Morgan and Nancie (Wright) Daniels, resided in Canton 25 years, and in Texas and Missouri since 1964. Preceded in death by her husbands, Walter A. Collier, Sr. and Frank Starr, and a son, Walter A. Collier, Jr. Survived by her daughter, Roberta Brumbaugh, of Silva, MO, and her son and daughter-in-law, Winston and Becky Collier, of Canton; one brother, Morgan Daniels, Jr., of Greensboro, NC; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Sunset Hills Burial Park with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. There will be no calling hours.
