RUTH M. MAY, Age 84, of Magnolia, passed away Fri. evening in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Mineral City, a daughter of the late Eddie and Katherine Holshoy Binkley, and was a life resident of the Mineral City-Magnolia area. Ruth was a 1943 graduate of Mineral City High School. She was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church and the Mineral City Area Historical Society. Preceded in death by an infant son, four sisters and one brother, Vera Zuroff, Edna Hanenkrat, Florence Baldwin, Gladys Reinhart, and Charles Binkley. Survived by her husband, Robert N.. May, with whom she would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on July 6, 2009; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Diane and Thomas Hert, of Canton, Elizabeth and Joseph Mossa, of Swanton, OH, Cathy Bell, of Mineral City, and Nelda and James Sisler-Buck, of Delaware, OH; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Kathleen May, of East Sparta, and Jay and Maureen May, of North Industry; also 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and nine step-great grandchildren. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
