Ruth F. Glenn

Age 91, of Canton, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, with her family by her side.  She was born in Cleveland, a daughter of the late John E. and Ruth (Barker) Fletcher.  Ruth was retired from Canton City Schools, and spent 30 years in Florida before returning to Canton.  She was a member of Legacy Chapter #596, O.E.S. and was a Past Worthy Matron of Delta Chapter #539, O.E.S.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Glenn, brother, John Fletcher, and son-in-law, Scott Gay, Sr.  Ruth is survived by her daughter, Cindy Gay, grandchildren, Tony, Steven (Desiree), and Nicole Cespedes, and Scott Gay, Jr, and grandchildren, Aubree and Carson.  Her ashes will be returned to Florida to rest eternally with her beloved Vic in Florida National Cemetery.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  The family thanks the staff at Brookdale and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
