RUBY M. ROCK,

Age 96, of Waynesburg, passed away peacefully Tues., Apr. 19, 2016.  Born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late David and Katie (Peters) Burwell, she had been a life resident of Waynesburg.  Ruby was a 1939 Graduate of Waynesburg High School, a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church, and a former member of Waynesburg Presbyterian Church.  She loved to cook and can the fruit and vegetables that Dean grew in his garden.  Holidays and family gatherings were always celebrated with huge meals prepared with love in her home; she was especially known for her homemade spaghetti sauce.  Ruby enjoyed traveling and playing euchre; she had a vivid sense of humor and loved to dress up for Halloween.  Preceded in death by her husband Dean Rock on Nov. 3, 2005 and her son, Jimmy Rock.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Rocky Graziano, and Kathy and Donald Faulk; one son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Jeanine Rock; one sister and brother-in-law, Doris and George McKay; three grandchildren, Deborah and John Kocevar and their children, Jennifer and Jack, James Burns, and Justin and Candys Rock and their daughters, Jasmine and Chelsea; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Fri. at 1 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Steven M.
