Rosemary C. Hovan
Age 76, a resident of Gaslite Villa, passed away there Sat. afternoon. She was born in Bakerton, PA, a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Maloney) Hovan, and had been a resident of Gaslite Villa since October of 2001, previously residing in St. Petersburg and Tampa, FL from 1975-2001. Rosie was a kind person and was loved by everyone. She enjoyed arts, crafts, playing card games, bingo, and especially crossword puzzles. She had a gentle nature toward pets and other animals. Rosie will be missed by many. She is survived by her sister, Theresa "Terri" Van Zant, of Homosassa, FL, her aunt, Catherine Edmiston, of
Bradenton, FL, and numerous cousins. Her sister wishes to express her appreciation and deep gratitude to the loving and caring staff of Gaslite Villa who provided excellent care to Rosemary. There will be no services or calling hours, and entombment will be in Royal Palm North Mausoleum in St. Petersburg next to her parents. Any donations may be made to Gaslite Villa in Rosemary's memory. The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
