Ronald M. Jones

Age 86, of Winfield, OH, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2023.  He was born August 18, 1936 in Mineral City, a son of the late Eugene and Bernadine (Lab) Jones, and resided in Winfield since 1985.  Ron retired in 1998 from Iron Workers Local #550 in Canton.  He was a member of Carr-Bailey American Legion Post #519 in Mineral City, and a life-member of both the NRA and the Games Reserve Association.  Ron honorably served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1954-58.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Ellen (Jones) Sabino in 2003, and a brother, Ardell Jones.  Ron is survived by his wife, Ellen (King) Jones, with whom he celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on Jan. 24th, five sons, David (Chris Norton) Jones, Thomas (Lisa) Jones, William (Lisa Jones) Jones, Ronald (Tammy) Jones, and Donald (Kathy Mishler) Jones, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with his brother-in-law, Rev.
