Roberta L. Boggs

Age 87, of Waynesburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Jan. 12, 1935 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Angelo and Eleanor (Bankert) Rugani, and was a life resident.  Roberta was a 1953 graduate of Waynesburg High School where she was Valedictorian of her class.  She was a member of the former Waynesburg United Methodist Church and the Waynesburg Historical Society, and had served on the Waynesburg Village Council.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ernest R. Boggs, on March 4, 2018, and a sister, Catherine.  She is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Larry) Bouscher and Cathy Boggs; two grandchildren and three great-granddaughters, Stephen (Kristy) Bouscher and their daughters, Charlotte and Emily, Michael (Trinity) Bouscher and their daughter, Sawyer; two brothers, Jack (Kay) Rugani and Jim (Mona) Rugani.

Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr. Joseph Zamary officiating.  Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
