Robert A. Williams
Age 57, of Zoarville, passed away Thursday evening in Aultman Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dover, a son of the late Francis and Margaret Wise Williams, and was a life resident of Zoarville. Bob retired in 2008 from Republic Engineered Products, after 36 years service, where he worked in 18 inch shipping. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Philadelphia and was a member of United Steelworkers Union Local #1124. Bob enjoyed going to car shows and drag races. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by a sister, Janet Barnes. Survived by his wife, Judith M. Williams, with whom he celebrated their 35th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 14, 2010; one daughter and son-in-law, Tanja and Dennis Davis, of Louisville, OH; one granddaughter, Ella Marie Davis; one sister and brother-in-law, Anna Mary and Max Ball, of New Philadelphia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Doris Williams, of Louisville and James and Paula Williams, of East Canton; a brother-in-law, Gene Barnes, of Columbus, OH; and a special friend, Billy Maxheimer, of Youngstown. Services will be conducted Wed. at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating. Interment in German Cemetery. Friends may Tuesday 5-8 p.m. and Wed. 1-2 p.m. before the service. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Aultman Cancer Nurses for the love and care they gave to Bob. They also wish to thank their close neighbor, Russell Sands, for all the help he gave to them.
