ROBERT SISSON, SR.,

Age 88, of Sherrodsville, passed away Mon., June 9th, 2014, in Aultman Hospital.  Born in Columbus, a son of the late Charles and Rebecca Sisson, he had been a Sherrodsville resident since 1994.  Robert had attended Sandy Valley Church of God, served with the U.S. Navy during WWII, and retired from Diebold, Inc., after 22 years service, as a forklift operator.  Preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Lynn Sisson.  Survived by his wife, Maxine Sisson, with whom he celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 22; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Delbert Sisson, of Canton, David and Melanie Sisson, of Greentown, and Robert Sisson, Jr., of Dover; and three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held Tues. at 11a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.
