Robert N. Ramey of Magnolia, passed away Sat., August 27, 2016, following an extended illness.  He was born in Pikeville, KY, a son of the late Jesse and Zella (Justice) Ramey, and had been a Magnolia resident since 2005, previously East Sparta for 17 years.  Bob was retired from the Perry Township Police Department, where he was a Captain.  He then was a self-employed over the road semi-truck driver.  Following that he and his wife owned and operated Hillview Stables for a number of years.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Stallard and Bruce Ramey.  He is survived by his wife, Laurie A. Ramey, with whom he would have celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 7th,  four daughters and two sons, Nora Lloyd, Barbara Reed, Vicki Stevens, Valerie Ramey, Robert Ramey II, and Neil Ramey, his grandchildren, a sister, Brenda (Dana) Harris, and a cousin, James Justice.  According to Robert's wishes there will be no calling hours or services.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
