ROBERT R. PELLEGRINO,

Age 90, of Magnolia, passed away Tues., Apr. 1st, 2014, in Mercy Medical Center.  Born in Canton, a son of the late Vincent and Mary (Gambone) Pellegrino, he had been a Magnolia resident since 1998, previously residing in Canton many years.    Bob was a 1941 graduate of Massillon Washington High School and served in the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific during WWII.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and retired in 1980 from the Ford Motor Co. after 30 years service where he was a forklift operator.    Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Gerald, Warren "Pete," and Edward Pellegrino, and Evelyn Leasure and Ladyne Carver.  Survived by his wife, Theresa Pellegrino, with whom he celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 23rd; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rachel Peloso, of Canton, and Eileen and Jerry Fagan, of New Castle, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant.  Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour before the service, from 10-11 a.m. in the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to St. James School, 400 W.
