Robert C. McClelland

Age 74, of Akron, passed away Sat., Jan. 11, 2020.  He was born Nov. 26, 1945 in Ft. Worth, TX, a son of the late John and Myrtle (Walters) McClelland, has resided in Akron, previously the Magnolia/Waynesburg area.  Bob was a 1963 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, and had been employed as a machinist for Clyde Walters Machine Shop in Hartville.  He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Japan.  Bob is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Lynn McClelland, of Crossville, TN, three nieces and one nephew, Susanna (Ted) Leithart, Shelly Landis, Sandi Khader, and Ehren McClelland.  According to his wishes there will be no visitation or services.  The family will hold a Memorial at a later date.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
