Robert Fabian

Age 82, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022.  He was born Dec. 12, 1939 in Zemunik, Zadar, Yugoslavia, a son of the late, Ljubimir and Marija (Drazic) Fabian, and came to the United States and Canton on April 30, 1959.  For many years he owned with his brother, Tony, Fabian Concrete.  He was retired from Miracle Concrete.  Bob was an avid bowler and golfer.  For many years he bowled in the house tournaments at College Bowl on Friday nights, winning many.  He had eight 300's in his bowling career.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his great uncle, Joseph Fabian, who sponsored him for his immigration.  He is survived by his wife, Joanna Fabian, with whom he celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 3rd last year, three daughters, Antoinette "Toni" Fabian (Terry Malloy), Milisa (Richard) Strain, and Stephanie (Jeff) Wingard, one son, Robert "Rob" Fabian, three grandsons, Troy and Craig Smolinsky, and Mitchell Wingard, one brother, Tony Fabian, of Canton, OH, and many siblings in Yugoslavia.

Friends may call Sat. 2-4 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.
