Robert E. "Bob" Baxter

Age 79, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.  He was born July 5, 1942 in Canton, a son of the late Earl and Ruby (Trbovich) Baxter, and had been a Waynesburg resident most of his life.  Bob was a 1960 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, and was a retired employee of PCC Airfoils in Malvern, with 42 ½ years' service, where he was a heat treat operator.  Bob Honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was of Catholic Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.  Bob is survived by his wife, Sue Baxter, two daughters, one step-daughter, one step-son, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Wed., Jan. 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Fr.
