RICHARD W. "OZZIE" OSMUNDSEN, Age 82, of Minerva passed away Wed. afternoon. Born a son of the late Otto and Kathleen Weis Osmundsen, he had been a Canton resident most of his life. Ozzie was a graduate of McKinley High School, served with the U.S. Navy and retired from the Canton City Fire Department. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Paul Simon, of Ashtabula; his son and daughter-in-law, Cleve and Paula Osmundsen, of Hudson; his sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Robert Winkelman, of Canton; his brother, William Osmundsen, of Canton; three grandchildren, Eric Simon, and Margot and Derek Osmundsen; good friends and neighbors, Laurie and Bill Brown and their sons, Billy and Wylie; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted Mon. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Shank officiating. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
