Richard P. King,

Age 73, of Dover, passed away Fri., Nov. 7, 2025.  He was born Nov. 7, 1952, in Canton, a son of the late Paul and Lily (Marsili) King.  Richard was a 1972 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and served with the U.S. Army from 1972-1974, during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and retired from Canton City Schools as a Custodian and also drove bus for Sandy Valley High School.  Survived by his wife, Robin King; two daughters, Kristy (John) Rice and Kelly (Derik) Sheppa; two sisters, Julie (Vince) Logozzo and Linda (Greg) Huggins; and five grandchildren.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tues. at 11am in St. James Catholic Church.  Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call Tues. from 9-10:30am in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
