Richard E. "Rick" Hill, Sr. Age 69, of Canton, had his Home Going on Sat., Nov. 19, 2011. He was born in Canton, a son of the late John and Dorothy (Rice) Hill, and was a life resident. Rick was a 1960 graduate of McKinley High School and had a home improvement business. Rick was a deep thinker and enjoyed challenges. Preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Capobianco, on Dec. 2, 1993. Survived by two sons, Richard E. Hill, Jr., and Keith Hill, both of Canton; two grandchildren, Anthony and Angela, and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Carrie; seven sisters and four brothers-in-law, Sandra and Jess Adams, Sharon Hill, Myra Conaway, Susan and Thomas McCully, Peggy and Marcus Yohn, Pamela Hill, all of Canton, and Marjorie and Mark August, of Massillon; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Cindy Hill, Timothy and Tina Hill, Randy and Nancy Hill, and Kurt Hill, all of Canton. Services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Dr. Dana Gammill officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
