Richard L. DeLong,

Age 74, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat., Oct. 25, 2025.  He was born Feb. 14, 1951, a son of Shirley Barth and the late Ray DeLong.  Richard retired from Resco as a Lab Tech.

Preceded in death by his sisters, Sheryl Cooney and Kathleen Kennedy, and his brothers, Ray and Bob DeLong.  Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol DeLong; one daughter, Tracy (Rick) Williams; two sons, Richie (Hope) DeLong and Scott (Toni) DeLong; six grandchildren, Rich (Donna) DeLong, Bobby (Chelsea) DeLong, Amanda DeLong, Billy Knoy, Brandi (Zac) Broel, and Zack (Renee) Knoy; twelve great grandchildren; and two brothers, Tom (Melinda) DeLong, and Larry (Kathy) DeLong.

Services will be held Wed. at 1pm in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Friends may call two hours before the service, from 11am-1pm, in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's name may be made to the Humane Society, 5100 Peach St. NE, Louisville, OH 44641.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
