Paulette passed away peacefully at home in Athens, Tennessee, on Friday, September 1, 2023.  She was born in Canton, Ohio on October 23, 1951 to Gene and Helen (Weaver) Higham. She grew up in East Sparta, Ohio and graduated in 1969 from Sandy Valley High School. She and her family moved to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1971 where they raised their children. Seven years ago, she and her husband moved to Athens, Tennessee.

Paulette is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Myers, with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage on April 18th; brother Ron and his children Douglas, Gregory, Leslie, and Steven, and brother Daniel; two sons, Brian (Becki) and children Matthew, Dylan, and Cody, and Mark and his son Carson; two daughters Michelle (Chris) and their children, Kesey, (great grandson Ranger), Ivy, Lucas, and Kaydan, and Danielle (Corey), and their children, Jenna, Brodey, and Jed.

Paulette loved spending time with her family, especially being an active part of her grandchildren's lives, watching them grow, helping them thrive. She loved working alongside her husband in the garden, watching birds, making hard candy with her girls, crocheting, and doing her word puzzle books. She never met a stranger, and loved to joke around.

Calling hours are Wednesday, September 6, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Services are Thursday, September 7 at 11:00 am. Both are held at Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home, 266 N. Main Street, Magnolia, OH 44643. Interment service will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park, 501 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton, OH 44718.
