Paul A. Tice
Age 86, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday afternoon in Hanover House. He was born in East Liverpool, OH, a son of the late Earl and Bessie Tice, and had been a Canton area resident most of his life. Paul retired in 1977 from Love Furniture Co. where he was a salesman, and previously worked 22 years as Manager of the Singer Sewing Machine Co. He was a member of First Church of The Resurrection and had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Althea J. Tice, on Feb. 26, 2000. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Redleski, and Patricia and Raymond Davis, all of North Canton; four grandsons, Jeff and Jerry Redleski, Jim Davis, and Brian Davis and his wife, Jamie; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with pastor Bruce Mont officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service on Friday. The family wishes to express their appreciation to North Canton Medical Foundation, and especially Dr. Chester Bartram, and also The Inn at Belden Village and Hanover House, for the love and care they gave to Paul.
