Paul C. "Chris" Thompson,

Age 69, of Magnolia, passed away Tues., July 1, 2025.  He was born Mar. 9, 1956, in Canton, a son of the late Paul and Charlotte (Hoff) Thompson.  Chris was a 1974 graduate of Carrollton High School and had worked at Thompson and Sons Milk Transport.  He retired from Fillmore Freight Lines where he won a Safe Driving Award for logging two million miles safely.  Survived by his wife, Janet Thompson; his daughter, Christina (Jason) Lee; his son, Brian Thompson; his brother, Robert Thompson; and two grandchildren, Hailey Proudfoot and Carter Lee.  A Prayer Service will be held Wed. at 11am in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home.  Interment in St. Mary's Church Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chris's memory may be made to: St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 8012 Bachelor Rd.
