Patsy R. Edmison  1930-2015

Age 84, of Canton, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center.  She was born in Wayne City, IL, a daughter of the late Otto and Grace (Ellis) Peyton, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1968.  She and her late husband had owned and operated the Little Forest Inn in Malvern.  Patsy also had done taxes for many years, and lastly she had worked at Goodwill Industries in New Philadelphia.  But mostly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert L. Edmison, on April 3, 1990, her daughter, Tamara Cochran, on May 25, 2015, and two sisters, Wanda Roberts and Eleanor Wirth.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Ernie Barnett and Bertie and Chuck Colvin; a son-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey M. Cochran; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Terri (Pete) Manthey and their triplets, Grace, Emma and Christopher, Jeffrey (Kara) Cochran, Jr., and Matt Cochran; two brothers, Joe (Sue) Peyton and Ted (Jeanine) Peyton.  A service for family and friends will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Mausoleum at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens where she will be entombed next to her husband, with Pastor Bryan George officiating.  There will no calling hours.
