Patricia R. Shriver Age 87, of Canton, passed away Tuesday morning in Hanover House. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Russell Dawes and Ruth Mowery Dawes Johnson, and was a life resident of this area. Patricia was a member of the former Calvin Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Shriver, on Jan. 7, 1987, a daughter, Ellen Passwaters, sister, Anne Cook, and grandson, Keith Passwaters. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Trudi and Donald Whaley, of Louisville; her son, Charles Shriver, of Massillon; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vic and Carl Johnson, of Canton; two nieces and one nephew. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Blaylock officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
