Patricia L. Murray Age 47, of Massillon, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, in her home. She was born in Canton, a daughter of Bill and Nancy Baxter Murray, Sr. of Canton South, grew up in the Magnolia-Waynesburg area, and has resided in Massillon since 1986. Patti was a 1981 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, attended Stark State College from 1981-83, and graduated from the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Fairlawn. She was the owner/operator of Patricia L. Murray Massage Therapy for 22 years. Patti was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon, and the American Massage Therapy Association. Surviving besides her parents is her sister and brother-in-law, Nichole and Michael Herstine, of Canton South; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill "Bouncer"and Linda Murray, of North Canton; nieces and nephews, Ashtan and Emily Herstine, Lucas, Morgan, and Cole Murray; her special friend, Jo Ann Edwards, of the home; and her beloved dog, Miss Baxter. According to Patti's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or services. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Dina Rooney, Dr. Edward Walsh, and ER Dr. George Janas, for their care and concern for Patti.
