Patricia M. Eichelberger

Age 84, of East Sparta, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar.  She was born Feb. 14, 1933 in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Edward and Roberta (Hoverman) McVann, and was a life resident.  Patti was a 1951 graduate of East Sparta High School.  She was a retired employee of Brookside Country Club, where she worked in the office, and also worked for Quest Recovery.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman D. Eichelberger, on Jan. 30, 1967, a son, Mitchell Eichelberger, on Sept. 27, 2007, and two brothers, Robert and Eugene McVann.  She is survived by two sons, Shawn (Dawna) Eichelberger, of Magnolia, and Brian (Kathy) Eichelberger, of Navarre; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother, Ruth McVann, of North Canton and Jay McVann, of Jacksonville, FL.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Bishop as Celebrant.  Friends may call Sunday 4-6 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
