IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela
Miller
November 17, 1951 – December 31, 2024
Pamela K. Miller Age 73, of Magnolia, passed away after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 17, 1951, in Dover, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Reidl) Krieger. She was a 1970 graduate of Tusky Valley High School.
Pam, affectionately known as "Mimi" by her nine beloved grandchildren, was an amazing grandmother who brought boundless joy and love to their lives. Whether attending their sports games, school activities, or milestones, she was their biggest cheerleader and a constant source of support. Her grandchildren lovingly referred to her as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time)—a title she wore with pride.
Pam dedicated much of her career to Sandy Valley Schools, where she served as High School Secretary. Her love for Sandy Valley extended far beyond her professional role. She was a passionate supporter of Sandy Valley sports, faithfully attending games and events long after her retirement. Even as she faced illness, Pam's commitment never faltered—her heart remained on the sidelines, cheering for her Cardinals and the students she held so dear. Pam made a lasting impact on the community she loved.
As a die-hard Ohio State fan, she enthusiastically cheered for her Buckeyes every football season. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with friends, crafting homemade cards and gifts, and making thoughtful gestures that touched the hearts of everyone around her.
Pam's devotion to her community and faith was unwavering. A longtime member of East Sparta Christian Church, Pam served as Treasurer, was on the Fellowship Committee and enjoyed being with her church family. She worked tirelessly to keep the Sandy Valley Academic Booster Club active, leaving a legacy of dedication to education and excellence.
Pam's warmth, kindness, and generosity made her a second mother and grandmother to many, and her home was always a welcoming space filled with laughter and love.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Miller, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 12, 2025. Pam also leaves behind her three daughters, Jenn (Michael) Popil, and their children, Jackson, Max, and Miles; Sarah (Dave) Schoeppner, and their children, Chloe, Emerson, and Cooper; and Meredith (Dillon) Douglas, and their children, Carter, MaKayla, and Trevor. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia (Sam) Schaefer, Paula (Mark) Goudy, Paul (Linda) Krieger, and Perry (Jeri) Krieger; her sister-in-law, Sharon (Paul) Meinerding; and her brother-in-law, Craig (Amy) Miller, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at East Sparta Christian Church, with Tim Carlson officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, January 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, January 10 at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pam's memory may be made to East Sparta Christian Church, PO Box 476, East Sparta, OH 44626, or the Sandy Valley Academic Booster Club, 5130 SR 183, Magnolia, OH 44643 (attn: Academic Booster Club).
