Norman E. Price Age 85, of Canton, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, in The Pines. He was born in North Canton, a son of the late Merritt and Florence (Lantz) Price, and was a life resident of this area. Norm was a 1945 graduate of Jackson High School. He retired 1986 from the U. S. Postal Service, after 32 years service as a letter carrier. Norm was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Survived by his wife, Alice E. Price, with whom he would have celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on June 30th; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Dennis Peters, of McKinney, TX, and Jill and Carl Elliott, of Blackwell, MO; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Megan Collins, Captain Matthew (Lynn) Collins and their daughter, Emily, Allison (Darren) Worley and their son, Henry, and Aaron Elliott. A Memorial Service will be held Wed., May 16 at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norm's memory may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4120 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709.
