Norma J. Motz
Age 79, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat. evening in her home. She was born in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Eli and Stella Lee Smith, and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1955. Preceded in death by her husband, George Motz, Sr., on Nov. 14, 1987, one brother and three sisters, Lewis Smith, Nellie McKay, Lillian Bruhy, and Evelyn Smith. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Bill Shrader, of Waynesburg; four sons and daughters-in-law, George and Kimberly Motz, Jr., Robert and Betty Motz, Ralph and Thelma Motz, and Charles and Angie Motz, all of Waynesburg; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ellen and Bernard Lipscomb, of New Martinsville, WV, Florence Folger, of Middlebourne, WV, Betty Bowen, of Okmulgee, OK, and Martha and Robert Guile, of Woodbridge, NJ; special nieces, Mary Ellen Hendershot and Vernice Richeson, both of Alliance; also 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A private graveside service will be held on Wed. at 2 p.m. in Sandy Valley Cemetery with Pastor Johnnie Crawford officiating. There will be no calling hours. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
