Norma R. Elsaesser,

Age 89 of Canton passed away peacefully in the Canton Christian Home on July 6, 2023. She was born June 25, 1934 to the late Virgil and Beaulah Adams. Norma grew up in Fairhope, OH and graduated from Louisville High School where she was a majorette. Following high school she became a flight attendant for United Airlines and that is where she met the love of her life, Robert J Elsasser, while he was working for the Hoover Co. They married July 17, 1965, and lived in Kansas City and San Francisco before returning to Canton for Rob to finish his career as the President of the Hoover Co. Together they loved to travel and also had a home in Tequesta, FL, where they spent their winters before Rob's passing on September 3, 2000.  Norma was very active in the American Red Cross and the Timken Mercy Service League. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Joanne Vaughn, and Sara Jane Holben.  Survivors include her niece, Cindy Pincoe, and great nephew, Alex Pincoe.
