Norma J. Broad Age 83, of East Sparta, passed away Monday afternoon in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. She was born in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Nolt Slutz, and had been a life resident. Norma was a member of East Sparta Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Broad, Jr., on June 7, 1991, and two sons, Jerry, in 1970, and William, in 1984. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Don Engelhart, of Magnolia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Betty Broad, of Atwood Lake, and James and Candy Broad, of Sevierville, TN; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and her close friend, Miriam Lebold, of Magnolia. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Minister Victor Slutz officiating. Interment in East Sparta Cemetery.
