Nellie Stevens Age 94, of Canton, passed away Thursday afternoon in Altercare of Navarre. She was born in Alliance, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Sigfe) Andrichs, and had been a Canton resident most of her life. Nellie was a 1936 graduate of McKinley High School. She was retired from Gay's Shoes and had previously worked in the Shoe Department of Kobacher's Department Store for over 20 years. Nellie was a member of First Christian Church and had been an avid bowler for many years. Preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Carl D. Stevens, on Nov. 20, 2009, and two sisters and one brother. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Arlis and Larry Cramer, of North Canton; two granddaughters, Dana (Larry) Toth, of Navarre, and Lori (Andy) Aliberti, of Canton; three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Drew LeBoeuf, and Adreana Aliberti. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Bullock officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
