Nellie A. Almasy Age 85, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday morning in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Vittorio and Guilia (Chiocca) Marsilli, and was a life resident. Nellie retired in 1975 from TRW in Minerva where she was an assembler. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Almasy, on Nov. 3, 1982, one brother and three sisters, Dean Marsili, Annie Cascioli, Lily King, and Olga Malanca. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Janet Almasy, of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Nelson) Sakotas, and Tyler Almasy, all of Magnolia; two great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Paige; a brother-in-law, Paul King, of Waynesburg; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
