Nell R. Tressel

Age 102, of Mineral City, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Schoenbrunn Healthcare.  She was born in Lafferty, OH, a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Wojdyla) Nemetz, and came to Mineral City in 1924.  Nell was a member of New Cumberland United Methodist Church.  She had a green thumb and could make anything grow, and especially loved roses.  Preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Tressel, on June 27, 1978, her son, Gary Tressel, on Aug. 24, 2008, three sisters and one brother, Lucille Pucciarelli, Mary Damiano, Stella Nemetz, and John Nemetz.  Survived by her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Tressel, and her grandson, Jeremy Tressel, the love of her life, both of Mineral City, and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in New Cumberland United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Knapp officiating.  Interment in New Cumberland Cemetery.  Friends may call Sat. from 10-11 a.m. at the church before the service.  A meal of Fellowship will be held in the church hall immediately following the graveside service.  Contributions in Nell's memory may be made to New Cumberland United Methodist Church.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
